Renwick Vineyard

ABOUT RENWICK VINEYARD

Seven hectares of classic stony 'Rapaura' soils, Renwick was our first vineyard and was purchased in 1992. This vineyard provides key blending components for both Nautilus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay along with small parcels of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Gruner Veltliner and Albarino.

VINEYARD SPECIFICATIONS

Soil characteristics: Well drained stony alluvium.

Climate: Warmer and wetter than the Southern Valleys/Awatere. Early ripening.
