Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Nautilus Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2009 is pale straw in colour with green tinges and a lifted aroma of gooseberry, blackcurrant bud and dried thyme. The palate introduces passionfruit skin and a hint of red capsicum. The wine has a rich mid palate with good texture and a typical zingy finish. Delicious now, this wine will continue to develop over the next six to eighteen months.

Nautilus Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2009

4.5 stars - Winestate Magazine (Aus & NZ), Spring 2010

"Bright, pale yellow. Musky, slightly reduced aromas of pear and stone. Juicy and intense, with sharply delineated fruit-driven flavors of orange blossom and stone fruits. This youthfully compact wine finishes with attractive floral lift. I'd give it 6 to 12 months to develop more nuance." Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar (USA), September/October 2010

"Appealing fresh gooseberry, lemongrass, guava and slightly fennel flavours. It has great purity and subtlety, but not lacking power, and an attractive lightness and accessibility. Perfect summer wine that's glowing with energy." Bob Campbell MW, Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine (Aus), February/March 2010
