New Zealand Pinot Gris and Grigios come in a wide variety of styles. Nautilus Pinot Gris has always been inspired more by the wines of Alsace than anywhere else, and has always been produced in a relatively dry style for the region.
Nautilus Pinot Gris is sourced predominantly from our Awatere Vineyard which provides great purity of fruit and focus to the wine’s structure.
The grapes are 100% handpicked and whole bunch pressed with 15% being barrel fermented. Three months’ lees stirring gives a creamy rich texture.
