Nautilus Cuvee Marlborough Brut NV
- "Delicate, strong yeast autolysis character and obvious bottle development. It has ethereal texture and an aromatic appeal that I associate with Champagne. Very attractive. Five stars. Good drinking now - five years."

"The team at Nautilus have been producing this wine since 1989 and their expertise absolutely sings - this sensational sparkling proves it's possible for a wine to have power, presence and serious palate impact while being elegantly refined and graceful at the same time. A delicate bead and persistent mousse made it a very pretty wine in the glass, and being scented with lemon shortbread, almond meal and rising dough made it impossible to resist. In the palate it was beautifully structured with lovely complexity and fatness, according to James. "Lovely and balanced," noted Cameron, "the thinking persons bubbly."

5 stars -"Lean
and crisp, piercing and long, it's a beautifully tight, vivacious and refined wine, its Marlborough fruit characters enriched with intense, bready aromas and flavours. Intensely yeasty and vigorous, it's a complex wine, vivacious and citrusy, with strongly yeasty flavours that float to a smooth, lasting finish."

- "This has a complexity about it, layered and sophisticated, showing a wealth of strawberries and fresh-baked pastry, some grilled almonds and sweet floral perfume too. The palate’s flavoursome and nicely structured, with good weight, precision and plenty of smooth texture, and flavours of berry crumble and toasted cashews through the finish. Three years on lees has created handy complexity."

Bob Campbell MW, October 2009
"This excellent cuvée has real class. The influence of aged reserve wines that are held in old oak adds complexity to a yeasty bouquet with citrus, apple and pear at the core. It tastes fine and elegant, with good texture, just enough richness in the middle, and a bone-dry, lip-smacking finish."
Panel of Judges, Cuisine (NZ), October 2008
- "A blend of 75 per cent pinot noir and 25 per cent chardonnay with at least three years bottle age on the yeast lees. This fine textured, lemony wine has subtle yeasty flavours. Pinot noir gives it weight and richness plus a subtle chocolate and toasted nut influence. Very pure flavours are balanced with a soft yet dry finish. An extremely stylish, award winning wine deserving of the many accolades it has received."
